Exercice 2 — Compréhension : A Typical Tuesday vs. Right Now (5 points)

Read the two texts. Text A (Habit): "On a typical Tuesday, I get up at 7 am. I have breakfast and go to school by bus. My lessons start at 8:30. I have lunch at the canteen with my friends. After school, I often do my homework. In the evening, I watch TV with my family." Text B (Now): "It's Tuesday, 4 pm. I'm not doing my homework. I'm sitting in a café with my friend Leo. We're drinking hot chocolate. He's telling me about his holiday. My phone is ringing but I'm not answering it." Answer the questions. 1. According to Text A, how does the narrator usually go to school? 2. According to Text B, what is the narrator drinking right now? 3. What does the narrator usually do after school? (Text A) 4. Exercice 3 — Description : What's happening in the picture? (10 points)

Imagine this scene: It's Saturday morning in a park. Describe what is happening RIGHT NOW. Use the Present Continuous. Then, describe what people USUALLY do in this park on Saturdays (use Present Simple). Write 10-12 sentences in total. You can describe: children, families, dogs, sports, the weather, the ice cream van... Start with: "In the picture, it's a sunny Saturday morning. A lot of people are in the park..."

Exercice 3 — Description : What's happening in the picture? : 10 points

Correction indicative : La première partie doit utiliser le présent continu pour décrire des actions en cours. La seconde partie doit utiliser le présent simple pour décrire des habitudes. Exemple de structure correcte : "Right now, the sun is shining. Some children are playing football. A woman is reading a book on a bench. Two dogs are running. A man is selling ice cream. People are laughing and talking... Usually, families come to this park on Saturdays. Children play on the swings. Teenagers meet their friends here. The ice cream van always comes at 11 am. People often have picnics. The park is usually very busy."
